One of the most effective ways to preserve the original taste and quality of the Trung Nguyen varieties is to use a stainless steel Phin filter with the guarantee of the coffee masters. With this filter you can brew a 170 ml cup of coffee precisely and with the best results.
It is made of stainless steel and consists of a round perforated plate that is placed over a coffee cup or mug, together with a brewing chamber and a cap to keep the heat in.
This filter has been designed exclusively for efficient filtering, with an output of between 55 and 60 seconds. This results in a coffee with an intense and original flavour guaranteed by Trung Nguyen beans and varieties and allows the aroma to be enjoyed in all its splendour.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Pour 3 tablespoons of coffee into the filter chamber. You can adjust the amount to your liking, but if the coffee is too loose, it will brew too fast and lose flavour, and if it is too tight, it will brew too slowly and become cold, so it is advisable not to change the recommended 3 tablespoons too much.
When the coffee is in the filter chamber, tap the chamber a little so that the coffee settles and drains evenly. Place the filter lightly on top of the coffee. Turn it once or twice to even out the grind. Do not press down, the weight of the filter is enough.
Place the filter over a glass or cup. Pour water into the chamber of your Vietnamese coffee filter to moisten the coffee with about 20 ml (a couple of tablespoons) of hot water... which makes the water level rise just above the filter. Wait 20 seconds for the water to sink into the coffee, then pour in the rest of the water until the filter is full. The best water temperature is approximately 85°C to 90°C.
Filtering usually takes 4 to 5 minutes. We suggest preheating the cup with hot water before use, as it helps to keep the coffee hotter.
Add condensed milk, sugar or ice to taste and enjoy your coffee.
CAUTION: The filter parts can become hot to the touch, so be careful when handling.
CLEANING:

- Use warm water and detergent with neutral soap.
- Rinse with cold water.
- Dry with a soft cloth.
- Not dishwasher safe.
